And you thought it was all cassette collections and old boom boxes . . .

Look! It’s pouring a glass of wine! Must have been a James Taylor tape.
You should see what it does what it does with a 2 Live Crew cassingle . . .

Hey, this is from www.theoldrobots.com which is a great site. Those crazy robots!

This is a really cool site. I thought I was the only person left on the planet who still loves cassettes. I am not totally against CDs; I just think cassettes are overlooked for their convenience. They are smaller, they can’t get scratched, oh – and they are totally cuter. Something about a stack of cassettes in their little plastic boxes is just neat. Cassette tapes were always unpopular because the sound is flat. CDs offer way more sound depth, and vinyl has a very rich, almost 3D sound quality to it, but good music sounds beautiful no matter how poorly it was recorded. I mean, tapes aren’t THAT bad. I think it offers a challenge to the artist. Can he/she make a recording that sounds great, even on analog?
